Shot on Polaroid TYPE 55 film, Halflight explores the quiet tension between control and unpredictability. The project was inspired by the film’s unique, dreamlike quality and the way its imperfections shape each image. The slow process of working with TYPE 55 allowed for a more intentional connection with each sitter. Rather than aiming for perfection, the focus was on capturing something essential, an honest impression that might otherwise be lost.
